7/7 Bombings...
Sky News...
The Sky news coverage that was shown was all live from a helicopter above the scene. The commentator was in the studio talking over the footage which means that information she was giving could have been changed. She then goes on to interview a producer of the show who is that the scene. The questions that the interviewer asks are very clear and appropriate to what has happened. They ask him evactly what he saw and heard and he gives all the information he can about the situation. They also ask very detailed questions such as the injuries he has seen, so their report can become more detailed and informative. Having no presenters on the screen makes you focus on the footage that is being shown and makes you listen to what they are saying.

CNN...
The CCN coverage that was shown was live but only the studio side. The woman interviewing the witnesses was all shown live but then while she was talking it would cut to snippets of footage that linked to what the witness was saying. This helps the viewers to understand what is going on because aswell as explaining it, the viewers can see it aswell. Also there is alot of movement throughout the interview, for example, it keeps changing from the interviewer, to the footage and then to maps of where things happened.

BBC...
The BBC coverage that was shown was live on the morning of the bombings. There was a man in the studio interviewing an eye witness by telephone and while they were talking there was live footage of the scene where the bombing had happened. You see ambulances, police cars, police and paramedics investigating the scene which helps the viewers understand the seriousness of the situation. The witness explains exactly what he saw but does not know any specific facts such as number of injuries and fatalities or whether the bomb had been in a litter bin or on the double decker bus. In my opinion the man presenting the news spoke in a tone that gave off the impression he had not considered quite how serious the matter was which irritated me as I watched the news report. During the interview the news presenter was getting new information in about more bombings in different parts of London.
