Youtube questions

1.Have you ever used Youtube? if so what for and why did you use this rather than a more conventional form of media?
WE use YouTube to watch programmes and funny videos because they are easier to access and you can watch them at any time and not have to worry about missing things.

2.Look at one of the most viewed videos on Youtube today, why do you think its so popular? How many people have watched it/like it/ commentented on it?

Charlie bit my finger is the most watched video on youtube and is so popular because it appeals to most people, it's really random and unique. it has 291,481,109 view.

3. Think of a recent celebrity news story, Can you find information about this on Youtube? Do you think this information is reliable

No, there's no need for news to be accurate if the presenter isn't from an official business. They will just present anything they can to get views. If the news story is from the channel of the bbc for example then it's likely that the story will be true and legit.

4. How do you think YouTube is affecting celebrity culture.
YouTube is broadening the definition of celebrity. You can now become a 'YouTube celebrity' which means you're a popular member of the YouTube community.
