Question 1.
My mum uses a mobile phone to communicate with people and so does my Nan!  I use social networking sites to communicate with friends etc.   I also have a smartphone which combines having a camera and Facebook etc so this is a technological convergence.

My Nonna (grandmother) uses a telephone to communicate but struggles to use digital technology for any other reason. I use a smartphone so that i can have the internet, mobile phone and applications.

I use a smartphone which allows me to use social netowrking such as facebook and twitter, i also use the internet on my laptop and ipod as well as my xbox which allows me to play online. Watch DVDs on the xbox as well. My dad uses a blackberry for business and my mum only knows how to spend money online.

Question 2.
JAMIE - 
I use my BlackBerry the most and use it for phoning people, texting, communicating with friends on Blackberry Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, PingChat and WhatsApp.  I also have the Facebook app on my phone so I can also communicate with friends on that and update my status through my phone.  I can take photos on my BlackBerry too and can immediatly upload the picture onto Facebook.  I can also watch videos and listen to my music through earphones....

CIRO -
I use my Playstation 3 the most because i use it for many different purposes.


Question 3.


American programmes all depict stereotypical american values such as everybody is rich, drives fast cars and have problems with thier relationships for example 90210, Desperate Housewives and The O.C. All these programmes are conveying this culture to the audience and then they expect this to be the life everybody aims for. I personally buy most of my media products in England but they have most likely all been made in a different country such as China etc or designed and produced in more Techonologically advanced countries. We also buy accessories for the products that are imported into the more advanced countries. Items such as DVDs, video games and CDs. All of these products will also be imported into the countries
